About the Agganis Family
Our family-owned business opened its doors in January 1970 in Reading, MA. The school was founded by George Agganis, and is now owned and operated by son, Christopher Agganis. We are not just running a driving school. We are passionate advocates for higher level driver’s education and safer driving standards.
Both of these men have a passion and talent that reaches the youthful minds of their students and have sacrificed much to bring safer laws to Massachusetts. You could say the Agganis Family is the David and Goliath of the Massachusetts driving school world.
Why We Started the
Ultimate Driving Program
Safe driving for teens has always been a concern and priority for us. Over the years we have been active in getting local driving laws passed to ensure safe driving for everyone on the road. In addition, we wanted to develop a curriculum that exceeded basic driving instruction requirements. We think the current bare minimum requirements are not good enough—and we have the accident statistics to prove it.
Our commitment to the community is to produce smart, responsible drivers and turn Massachusetts into the number one safe-driving state.
How These Two Safe-Driving Advocates Took on the Registry of Motor Vehicles—and Won
You could say the Agganis Family is the David and Goliath story of the Massachusetts driving school world; fighting to improve the education of young drivers and ensure safer roads for Massachusetts. For two generations, the owners of the Agganis Driving School sounded the alarm: too many student drivers state-wide weren’t receiving proper driving education —and all of us are at risk because of it.
